Join the Maryland Acupuncture Society by selecting one of the member levels below
Renew MEMBERship
Renew your membership by selecting a member level. If your membership is active, your current level will show with a renew button. You may also change levels by selecting a different type. One good choice if you are a Professional member is to select auto renew and your membership will automatically renew every year with a $20 discount. In November 2023 at the MAS all member meeting, a vote was taken to raise membership dues from $100 to $200 That is being implemented as of May 26, 2024.
MAS Members receive discounts from numerous acupuncture supply companies, and other organizations. As well, MAS members are automatically members of ASA and receive benefit as such!

Professional
The price for membership is $200.00 now.

Student
The price for membership is $25.00 now.
Student membership is a available to any person enrolled in a school of acupuncture, herbology, or Asian medicine. However, the MAS bylaws do state that a student member cannot also hold an acupuncture license. The student membership is intended for entry level education programs, not for students of doctorate or herbology programs following on the initial acupuncture curriculum.
1st Year Professional
The price for membership is $150.00 now.
Full Professional Membership in the Maryland Acupuncture Society is open to all acupuncturists licensed in the State of Maryland. A discount is given for acupuncturists who are licensed by Maryland within the last year. Once a member has obtained a Maryland License, and is taking patients, they need to use the professional membership category.
Out of State Professional
The price for membership is $200.00 now.
Out of State Professional Memberships are available to acupuncturists not licensed in Maryland, such as licensed acupuncturists in Virginia, DC, etc. This is a non-voting membership, but does give discounts for continuing education events.
Allied Health Professional
The price for membership is $200.00 now.
Memberships are available to any practicing health care professional, such as physicians, physical therapists, dentists, chiropractors, veterinarians, massage therapists, nurses, shiatsu practitioners, tai-ji instructors, etc. that are not also acupuncturists licensed in Maryland.
Professional Member - Auto Renew
The price for membership is $180.00 per Year.
All membership levels that start with the word Professional in the Maryland Acupuncture Society are open to all acupuncturists licensed in the State of Maryland. This variation is for those who prefer an annual payment in subscription form which will renew every year automatically. There is a $10 discount on the standard Professional membership fee but you have to put a credit card on file with our payment processor which will be charged each year unless you ask us to cancel your membership or your credit card expires.
Friend of Acupuncture
The price for membership is $70.00 now.
Friend of Acupuncture Memberships are available to anyone who is not an allied health care practitioner or acupuncturist. The Friend of Acupuncture Membership does not get a seminar discount.
Life Member
The price for membership is $2,500.00 now.
The Maryland Acupuncture Society Life Memberships are typically presented to MAS executive board members for outstanding service on the board. The life membership is, however, also available to any acupuncturist who wishes to make a large financial contribution to the MAS.

The price for membership is $0.00 now and then $19.99 per Month. After your initial payment, your first payment is Free.
